Kim Tercero
Operations Supervisor
Kim oversees the overall operations of the distribution center and primarily focuses on the management of inventory, wholesale and retail orders and returns. Her role is important to World of Good as she ensures the integrity of product inventory and the successful distribution of its hand-crafted goods throughout the US.
Kim is a graduate of the Community and Regional Development undergraduate program at UC Davis and Urban Planning Graduate program at UCLA. She possesses a wealth of experience including community and labor organizing, administration, operations, information technology, and finance. Kim has worked as a union organizer for hotel and restaurant workers in Oakland, CA and recently left her position at a high-precision robotics firm where she coordinated their field and service department.
For Kim, World of Good embodies the principles of strong community economic development that is in-line with both her professional and personal goals.
Nancy Martz
Warehouse Clerk
Nancy receives the inventory as it arrives at World of Good and makes sure it is processed and placed for shipment; quality control, providing information to the sourcing and accounting departments. As a lifelong crafter with many interests, Nancy assesses the product before ordering to evaluate construction techniques.
With a BS in education and several years of training in computer programming, Nancy has taught GED classes, managed an organic farm, and assists disabled people to take personal charge of their lives. Nancy is an award winning beader and beading teacher, with previous QC work for the US government.
Nancy believes that it's important for each individual to make differences whereever they can. It is not possible for everyone to be a celebrated hero but it is possible for each person to make choices that reflect their values. Do Good.
Barbara Crawford
IT Administrator
Barbara manages the LAN/Internet, all computers and electronics, the phone system, and the office facilities. She obtained her degree in Library Science from UC Berkeley, and has over 12 years of experience in IT administration. Prior to joining World of Good in 2005, Barbara was with LMi.net, a Berkeley Internet service provider, where she managed the DSL Department, the company Web site and intranet, and earned a reputation as the most sought-after customer support representative. Barbara finds her role at World of Good to be especially rewarding as she believes in the mission of the company and enjoys working with a diverse group of talented people. When she is not fixing computers at World of Good, she is busy with adult literacy tutoring, and playing drums & guitar.
